The XLR was Cadillac's flagship, a magnificent version of the 6th generation Corvette. Assembled in the Bowling Green plant alongside the Corvette, the XLR's frame and suspension are fundamentally Corvette. The engine, however, is pure Cadillac, featuring the iconic DOHC Northstar V-8 with variable valve technology. This is a very powerful yet smooth and quiet powerplant.
