OLD FORGE Motorcars is proud to present this amazing, stunning award winning 1956 Continental MK II. #2897 was delivered new to Seattle Mercury dealer Lee Moran. It remained in his company's possession until 1971. The three subsequent owners are fully documented.

Full Disclosure:
Offered at RM Sotheby's 2018 Hershey auction where it was projected to sell between $75,000 and $100,000. However the car was only bid to $50,000 and the owner decided to hold on to it. American Car Collector magazine noted that the seller was "wise to hold on to it".

Condition:
Quoted from RM's write up "the Mark II retains its original chrome, in excellent condition. The body work is straight and the mostly original black lacquer paintwork exhibits some crazing but otherwise has a deep glass shine that belies the fact that the finish is over 60 years old".
